Tuesday features a seasonably cool morning, followed by lots of sun and a few clouds at times.  Tuesday’s highs will be mainly in the low-80s on the East Coast, in the upper-70s along the Gulf Coast, and mainly in the mid-70s in the Keys.

Wednesday will bring morning lows in the seasonable low to mid-60s on the mainland.  Then we’ll see another sunny day around South Florida.  Wednesday’s highs will be mostly in the low 80s on the East Coast, in the upper-70s along the Gulf Coast, and mainly in the mid-70s in the Keys.

Thursday will feature morning lows in the low to mid-60s on the mainland.  Then look for sunny skies on the mainland and good sun with some clouds in the Keys.  Thursday’s highs will be in the low-80s on the East Coast, the upper-70s along the Gulf Coast, and the upper-70s in the Keys.

Friday will begin with morning lows in the mid- to upper-60s on the mainland.  The day will be sunny around South Florida.  Friday’s highs will be in the low-80s on the East Coast and in the upper 70s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.

Faith Based Events

Saturday’s forecast calls for a mild morning, with lows on the mainland in the mid- to upper-60s.  Then look for lots of sun on the mainland and mostly sunny skies in the Keys.

Donna Thomas has studied hurricanes for two decades. She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
