Monday features plenty of clouds, a few early storms, and some afternoon storms on a gusty breeze in the East Coast metro area as a front approaches.  The Gulf Coast will see clouds and showers on a blustery breeze.  Look for more clouds than sun and some storms in the Keys.  Expect an increasing risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic and Gulf beaches. Monday’s highs will be mainly in the mid-80s in the East Coast metro area and in the low-80s along the Gulf Coast and the Keys — but look for temperatures to drop quickly in the evening.

Tuesday will bring morning lows in the low- to mid-60s on the mainland.  Look for more clouds than sun during the day, and the East Coast metro area will also see a few afternoon showers in spots.  Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches.  Tuesday’s highs will be mainly in the upper-70s.

Wednesday will feature morning lows in the low- to mid-60s on the mainland again.  Look for a mix of sun, clouds, and an afternoon shower in spots in the East Coast metro area, while the Gulf Coast and the Keys will see mostly sunny skies.  Wednesday’s highs will be near 80 degrees in the East Coast metro area and in the upper-70s along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.

Thursday will begin with another cool morning, followed by lots of sun on the mainland and a nice mix of sun and clouds in the Keys.  Thursday’s highs will be mainly in the upper-70s on the mainland and in the mid-70s in the Keys.

Friday’s forecast calls for yet another cool morning.  Look for mostly sunny skies on the mainland, with a few showers as well in the East Coast metro area.  Look for clouds and showers in the Keys.  Highs on Friday will be mainly in the low-80s on the mainland and in the upper-70s in the Keys.
