Storms will pop up around South Florida again on Friday, and the weekend will see some as well. Friday features sun and clouds most of the morning, but storms and showers will develop, starting late in the morning in the east coast metro areas. Look for afternoon storms as the activity shifts westward toward the interior and Gulf coast. Some of those storms could be strong, with heavy rain, gusty winds, dangerous lightning, and small hail. Highs on Friday will be in the upper 80s.
Saturday will continue the pattern, with early showers (especially along the east coast) and afternoon storms and showers. Saturday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.
We’ll begin to transition to our more typical rainy season pattern on Sunday, with sun, clouds, and afternoon showers and storms. Sunday’s highs will be in the upper 80s. Monday will be another day of sun, clouds, and passing showers and storms. Monday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.
