South Florida will get off to a cold start on Saturday, but the last day of 2016 finishes on a warmer note. Saturday morning will feel like winter, with lows mostly in the mid to upper 50s (and the low 60s in the Keys at right at the Atlantic coast). Then we’ll see sun, clouds on the breeze, a high risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches, and highs in the mid 70s.
Look for temperatures in the 60s around midnight. New Year’s Day will be warmer, with highs in the low 80s on a day with sun and clouds.
A few showers and a mix of sun and clouds are in the forecast on Monday. Monday’s highs will be in the low 80s.
Tuesday will also see a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the low 80s.
A weak front brings more clouds on Wednesday, and highs will be around the 80 degree mark.
