Showers and storms will be around South Florida on Sunday. Look for some morning showers, afternoon storms (especially inland), and highs in the low 90s.
Rain chances will decrease a bit on Monday, but a few early showers and scattered afternoon storms are in the forecast, along with highs in the low 90s.
On Tuesday, we’ll see moisture associated with the strong tropical wave we’ve been watching (and now has a high chance of developing into a depression as it tracks through the Caribbean toward Central America).
Our weather will feature passing showers and storms, periods of heavy rain, breezy conditions, and highs in the upper 80s on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Rain chances will decrease a bit on Thursday, but don’t count out passing showers and storms. Thursday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.
Elsewhere in the tropics, the National Hurricane Center gives the wave that’s several hundred miles west of the Cape Verde Islands a low chance of development as it moves through an area of unfavorable conditions during the next several days.
