By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter Meteorologist, June 10, 2015 – South Florida will see showers and storms on Wednesday, as southerly winds continue to bring tropical moisture into the area. Look for some periods of sun, sticky conditions, highs in the mid to upper 80s, and periods of heavy rain as those showers and storms move through.
Thursday won’t be as rainy, as Saharan dust dries out the atmosphere and makes the skies hazy. A few showers and storms could zip by, and highs will be in the upper 80s. The shift to easterly winds, some passing early showers, and highs in the upper 80s begins on Friday and continues into the weekend.
Afternoon storms should stay well inland during the weekend.
