By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com Meteorologist, Aug 8, 2015 – South Florida will be very hot on Saturday, and storms will develop inland during the afternoon. Look for highs mostly in the mid 90s before storms fire up inland and move into the western part of the metro area. Locally heavy rain is possible as the storms move through.
Sunday will bring more heat, with highs in the low to mid 90s, and afternoon storms will form again, with greater storm coverage as more moisture works its way into our atmosphere.
Afternoon storms will be back on Monday, and our typical summer pattern of storms forming on the sea breeze as temperatures top off in the low 90s will be in place through the workweek.
