By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com Meteorologist, Jan. 6, 2016 – South Florida will be windy and rainy on Wednesday, even as temperatures moderate.
Look for lots of showers on a strong breezy Wednesday morning and afternoon, finally tapering off during the evening.
The heaviest rainfall will likely be offshore and in the Upper Keys, but we can’t rule out pockets of downpours in spots near the coast, with most mainland areas receiving about an inch of rain. Highs will reach the low to mid 70s, despite clouds and showers.
Thursday will be much drier and breezes will be gentler, but a passing shower is possible in some locations. Thursday’s highs will be in the upper 70s.
That trend lasts into Friday, when highs will again reach the upper 70s. Saturday features sun, clouds, a few passing showers, and highs near 80 degrees. Look for more showers on Sunday, along with highs in the low 80s.
