By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com Meteorologist, Dec. 20, 2015 – South Florida will enjoy one more day of typical tropical winter weather on Sunday before heat and humidity return.
After a mild morning, look for clouds on a strong ocean breeze, the continuing high risk of dangerous rip currents, and highs in the upper 70s. Some showers move through late Sunday and into Monday as moisture returns, and Monday’s highs will climb into the low 80s.
Tuesday and Wednesday will feature some passing showers, increasing humidity, and highs in the low to mid 80s.
Thursday will see just a few showers and highs in the mid 80s, and temperatures won’t drop much as Santa heads into South Florida overnight.
Christmas Day will be just a bit more seasonable, with highs in the low 80s and only the chance of a stray shower.
