On Sunday, March 2, 2025, Friendship Circle of Miami will host their 16th annual Walking4Friendship 3K. As in previous years, organizers expect close to 1000 participants. Walking4Friendship’s opening ceremony and the walk begins at 9 a.m. at Friendship Circle’s campus, located at 8700 SW 112 Street, Miami, Florida.
The Bean Automotive Group’s Walking4Friendship is a beloved community event that raises crucial funds and awareness for Friendship Circle of Miami. This nonprofit organization benefits children and adults with special needs. The nonprofit provides enriching programs, including sports, music, life skills, camp, yoga, equine therapy and other exciting activities.
A Community Carnival will follow the walk, featuring carnival rides, food, entertainment, games, fun and friendship.
“Every step matters,” says Nechama Harlig, Co-director of Friendship Circle Miami. “We are so thankful to all of the participants and generous corporate and community sponsors for their participation in this year’s event.”

SCHEDULE
8:00am: Campus opens for check-in and t-shirt pick-up. Please stop by the check-in tent to get your $10 wristbands to enjoy our carnival, games, etc.
- 9:00am: Warm up at the stage
- 9:15am: Opening Ceremonies and Friendship Circle participant performance
- 9:30am: Ribbon cutting and walk begins!
- 10:00am: Carnival opens! Wristbands to participate in all the carnival fun, including rides, caricature drawings, face painting, 360 photo booth, and unlimited popcorn & cotton candy are a $10 donation per child ($5 donation for additional children in the same family).
- $5 tickets available to enjoy a hotdog, chips and drink this year!
- 12:45pm: Carnival fun comes to a close until next year.

Q: Where is the best place to park?
A: All participants must park in the field north of the Friendship Campus. Police will be onsite to assist with crossing the street (SW 112 Street). Handicap parking will be available at the entrance of the field.

A: We will be taking a friendly walk/stroll through the beautiful neighborhood around the Friendship Campus!
Friendship Circle Miami
Children with special needs face many challenges, among them isolation and lack of relationships. They could have the best professional help, but they don’t necessarily have friends, don’t attend regular social gatherings like most, and their classmates can’t interact with them in the same way as most children.
For the past 15 years, Friendship Circle has been bridging this gap through inclusive programs that help children with special needs develop friendships through sports, music, life skills training, summer- and winter- camp, yoga, equine therapy, and other exciting activities.
Mission
Friendship Circle Miami is a nonsectarian, community-based 501(c)(3) non-profit that creates friendship and develops life skills for individuals with special needs through teenage volunteers and community outreach.
