After Candace Payne’s video of herself experiencing pure joy {video below} as she tried on a Chewbacca mask began to go viral, you could practically hear the creak of machinery as brands tried to figure out how to capitalize.

Kohl’s gave it a go, and honestly, it warms the heart a little.

The American department store, where Payne originally bought the mask, spotted the viral moment and decided to thank her for her infectious enthusiasm. They visited Payne and her two kids Saturday, gifting the family an epic haul of Star Wars toys.

Although the Chewbacca mask has since sold out coast to coast, the store also managed to bring the kids a few more after Payne said in her video she loved it too much to share.

Faith Based Events

“We don’t want you to stress about sharing your Chewbacca mask, so we ‘confinscated’ masks for everyone,” the Kohl’s representative said, referring to Payne’s joke about her pronunciation in the video. [the video which started this laughing Chewbacca story is below]
