Woman Busted In $7 Million-Jewel Heist In Boca Raton! (Exclusive Video)

What appeared to be a desperate attempt to swipe 11 rare diamonds from the ECJ Luxe Collection jewelry store in Boca Raton’s Mizner Park spectacularly backfired, causing the arrest of a would-be heist artist who tried to trick the store owner.

Fatima Milanovic, 46, a French national who doesn’t speak English, was charged with organized scheme to defraud and grand larceny, both felonies that could send her to jail for a minimum two years. She’s out of the slammer on $50,000-bond.

Had she succeeded, according to the arrest report from Boca Raton Police, Milanovic could have disappeared with a total $6.77 million in jewels.

Instead, when police officers arrived at the shop after a 911 call, they found Milanovic in the store vault, where she had been locked.  Continue reading about the attempted theft.
