SouthFloridaReporter.com July 12, 2015 – The Miami Police Department’s Robbery Unit is investigating a case where an armed man casually walked up to two friends who were chatting in front of 1415 NW 21 Terrace, shortly before 6:30 P.M., on July 7, 2015.
According to detectives, the robber approached two men and demanded their belongings while wielding a gun. Victim #2 Osvaldo Miranda stood still because he didn’t have anything of value on him, while Victim #1 Jose E. Martinez ran for his life, but the robber gave chase. Martinez tripped as he tried to escape, but the robber managed to jump him and snatch his bracelet before he fled from the scene.
The subject is described as a clean shaven thin black man, 5’8” -5’9” tall, weighing approximately 175 lbs, last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, long black shorts and black shoes.
