

Tropical storm force winds from Hurricane Milton are just off the Ft. Myers area at 1 pm on Wednesday. At that time, Milton was 145 miles west of Ft. Myers and 160 miles southwest of Tampa.
Milton was moving north-northeast at 17 miles per hour at 1 pm. A turn to the northeast is forecast before landfall late Wednesday night or very early Thursday morning.
Milton’s maximum sustained winds were 145 miles per hour.
