Sunny on the Mainland, Clouds in the Keys

Thursday features lots of sun on the mainland, while the Keys will see plenty of clouds and a few showers.  Thursday’s highs will be in the low-80s on the mainland and near 80 degrees in the Keys.

Friday will bring morning lows in the mid to upper-60s on the mainland.  The day will be sunny in South Florida.  Friday’s highs will be mostly in the low 80s on the mainland and in the upper-70s in the Keys.

Saturday will feature another seasonably cool morning, followed by mostly sunny skies in the East Coast metro area and the Keys, and lots of sun along the Gulf coast.  Saturday’s highs will be mostly in the low-80s in the East Coast metro area and in the upper-70s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.
Sunday morning lows will be in the mid to upper-60s on the mainland.  Then look for good sun and some clouds throughout South Florida.  Sunday’s highs will be mostly in the low-80s in the East Coast metro area and in the upper-70s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.
Monday’s forecast calls for a cool morning with lows in the upper-50s to low-60s on the mainland as a front moves in.  Look for breezy conditions along the Gulf coast and more clouds than sun around South Florida.  Highs on Monday will be in the mid-70s.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
