Saturday’s forecast calls for another sunny day on the mainland, but the Keys will see more clouds than sun and periods of showers and storms.  Highs on Saturday will be in the mid 80s in the east coast metro area and the Keys and in the upper 80s along the Gulf coast.

In the tropics, we’re tracking Tropical Storm Lorenzo, which formed in the central Atlantic early on Monday.  TS Lorenzo had maximum sustained winds of 50 miles per hour Monday evening, and it was moving northwest at 12 miles per hour.  Lorenzo is forecast to turn to the north on Tuesday and gradually turn eastward, keeping it in the open Atlantic waters.
