Saturday will see a mix of good sun and periods of showers in the East Coast metro area. The Gulf Coast will see mostly sunny skies with a few storms in the morning and periods of showers in the afternoon. Saturday’s highs will be in the low 90s on the mainland and in the upper 80s in the Keys.
Sunday’s forecast calls for some sun, more clouds and showers, and the chance of a storm or two. Highs on Sunday will be mostly in the low 90s in the East Coast metro area, near 90 degrees along the Gulf Coast, and in the upper 80s in the Keys.
In the tropics, we’re watching a wave that’s now in the southeastern Caribbean. The National Hurricane Center currently gives it a low chance of becoming a depression before it reaches the Yucatan and enters the Bay of Campeche early next week. Currently, this feature does not pose a threat to the U.S. Gulf Coast.
