By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com Meteorologist, Dec., 17, 2015 – Summerlike heat is sticking around South Florida for another day as relief is on the way. After a warm morning with patchy fog in spots, we’ll see sun, clouds, a few showers, and highs in the near-record mid 80s on Thursday.

Friday will start as yet another warm day with highs in the low to mid 80s, but clouds, showers, and a few storms will build in the afternoon and early evening as our long awaited front moves through.
The front will clear South Florida overnight, and Saturday morning lows will be in the low to mid 60s. Saturday will be refreshingly dry and breezy (but the breeze will bring an increasing risk of dangerous rip currents through the weekend), with highs just reaching the mid 70s.
Sunday will be breezy and cool, with morning lows in the 60s and afternoon temperatures topping out in the mid to upper 70s. Enjoy the cool weekend, because warm temperatures and passing showers are back for the first half of the workweek. Some showers will be around Monday through Wednesday, and highs will range from the low 80s on Monday to the mid 80s on Tuesday and Wednesday.
