Thursday features mostly sunny skies with some morning and early afternoon showers and storms in the east coast metro area.  The Gulf coast will see a mix of sun, clouds, and afternoon showers and storms, while the Keys will be mostly sunny with showers in spots.  Highs on Thursday will be in the low 90s on the mainland and near 90 degrees in the Keys.

Friday will bring hot sun, some clouds, and periods of showers and storms to the mainland as Saharan dust begins to move into South Florida.  Look for mostly sunny skies in the Keys.  Friday’s highs will be in the low 90s in the east coast metro area, mostly in the mid 90s along the Gulf coast, and near 90 degrees in the Keys.

Saturday will feature lots of hot and hazy sun on the mainland, while the Keys will see lots of sun and a few clouds.  Saturday’s highs will be in the mid 90s on the mainland and near 90 degrees in the Keys.

Sunday will see lots of sun on the mainland, but a few clouds, showers, and storms will pop up in spots during the mid to late afternoon.  The Keys will see mostly sunny skies.  Sunday’s highs will be in the mid 90s on the mainland and near 90 degrees in the Keys.

Faith Based Events

Monday’s forecast calls for a late July mix of hot sun, a few clouds, and periods of showers and storms in spots.  Highs on Monday will be in the mid 90s on the mainland and near 90 degrees in the Keys.

In the tropics, we’re watching a trough of low pressure in the extreme northeastern Gulf, off the Florida panhandle.  This feature currently has a low chance of development as it moves generally westward before reaching the Louisiana or Texas coast this weekend — but it will bring heavy rain to the region.
