Thursday will bring mostly sunny skies and periods of showers and storms to the East Coast metro area. The Gulf Coast will see sun and a few showers and storms in the morning, followed by plenty of afternoon and evening storms. Look for clouds, showers, and storms in the Keys. Thursday’s highs will be near 90 degrees in the East Coast metro area and the Keys and in the low 90s along the Gulf Coast.
Friday will feature a mix of sun, showers, and storms on the mainland, with most of the showers and storms developing in the afternoon and early evening. The Keys will be cloudy with periods of showers. Friday’s highs will be in the low 90s on the mainland and the upper 80s in the Keys.
Saturday will see some sun but more clouds, showers, and storms to kick off what looks to be a rather wet Labor Day weekend. Saturday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.
Sunday’s forecast calls for plenty of showers and storms with a bit of sun at times. Highs on Sunday will be near 90 degrees.
It’s quiet in the tropics right now … but a low is expected to form in the central Atlantic in a couple of days. The National Hurricane Center gives this feature a low chance of becoming a depression during the next seven days as it moves to the west or west-northwest.
