Sunday features mostly sunny skies with periods of showers in the eastern portion of South Florida and some storms in the western part of our area. Expect the showers or storms to linger into the evening. Highs on Sunday will be in the low 90s right at the coasts and in the Keys, while the rest of South Florida will reach the mid-90s. But it will feel even hotter, so stay hydrated and out of the sun.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny with some morning storms and afternoon showers on the mainland. The Keys will see clouds and showers. Tuesday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
Wednesday will feature a mix of sun and clouds alternating with periods of showers and storms. Wednesday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
Thursday’s forecast calls for an early August mix of hot sun, showers, and storms. Highs on Thursday will be mostly in the low 90s, but a few inland locations could reach the mid-90s.
In the tropics, we’re watching an area of disturbed weather in the central Atlantic that is forecast to interact with a tropical wave. This feature has a low chance of development right now, but since it will be moving near the Greater Antilles late in the week, we’ll need to keep a close eye on it.
