There is so much news in South Florida theater this summer that we’re going to run our own version of a glib as we tick off the headlines of much, but not even half, of what’s happening in the region and involving its artists and audiences.

### Avant garde Mad Cat Theatre Company is celebrating its 15th season this summer with several events. One is a Quinceañera Fundraiser this Friday July 17 from 7-11 p.m. at Miami Theater Center’s SandBox in Miami Shores with, the news release says, “a live DJ spinning old and new bangers, face painting by Eva Paints, live performances by the MAD CAT LIVE! band, free drinks from Grey Goose, Peroni, Delaplaine Champagne and Perrier, yummy homemade grub, and a photo booth by Fabulous FauxtoBooth to help cherish the memories.” For tickets visit www.madcattheatre.org or call (866) 811-4111.
