South Florida Braces For Historic Cold As Strong Front Triggers Significant Temperature Drop (Video)

Thursday features a chilly morning, followed by lots of sun on the mainland and a mix of sun and clouds in the Keys.  Thursday’s highs will be in the low 70s on the East Coast, near 70 degrees along the Gulf Coast, and in the upper 60s in the Keys.

Friday will bring morning lows in the low to mid-50s on the mainland.  Then look for more clouds than sun and periods of showers around South Florida.  Friday’s highs will be in the upper 60s.

Saturday will feature morning lows in the 50s on the mainland.  The day will be windy along the Gulf coast and in the Keys, and quite breezy along the East Coast.  Look for plenty of clouds and some showers as a strong front moves in.  Expect a high risk of dangerous rip currents at the Gulf and Atlantic beaches on what will definitely not be a beach day.  Saturday’s highs will be in the upper 60s, but temperatures will drop dramatically overnight.

Faith Based Events

Sunday morning lows on the mainland will be in the upper 30s to low 40s.  Then look for a sunny, breezy, and chilly day.  Sunday’s highs will only reach the mid 50s.

Monday’s forecast calls for morning lows in the mid to upper 30s — the coldest temperatures since 2010.  The day will be sunny but quite cold.  Highs on Monday will be near 60 degrees on the mainland and in the upper 50s in the Keys.
