Sunday features a cool morning, followed by some sun but more clouds.  Look for a gusty ocean breeze in the East Coast metro area.  Expect a high risk of dangerous rip currents along the Palm Beach County coast and an elevated rip current risk at the Broward and Miami-Dade beaches.  Highs on Sunday will be in the upper-70s at the Atlantic coast and in the Keys, while the rest of South Florida will top out in the low-80s.

Monday morning lows will be in the 60s on the mainland.  Then look for mostly sunny skies.  Monday’s highs will be mostly in the mid-80s in the East Coast metro area and in the low-80s along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.

Tuesday will feature lots of clouds and some showers in the afternoon and early evening.  A late night storm is possible in the East Coast metro area.  Tuesday’s highs will be mostly in the mid-80s in the East Coast metro area, in the low-80s along the Gulf Coast, and near 80 degrees in the Keys.

Wednesday will see a mix of sun, clouds, the chance of an early storm, and some afternoon showers in the East Coast metro area.  Look for sun and clouds with a few afternoon storms along the Gulf Coast, while the Keys will be mostly sunny.  Wednesday’s highs will be mostly in the mid-80s in the East Coast metro area, in the low-80s along the Gulf Coast, and near 80 degrees in the Keys.

Faith Based Events

Thursday’s forecast calls for lots of sun around South Florida.  Highs on Thursday will be in the low-80s on the mainland and near 80 degrees in the Keys.

Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
