Wednesday will be another cloudy day with plenty of showers and storms on the mainland. Localized flooding is possible. The Keys will see lots of clouds and showers. Wednesday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.
Thursday will see a mix of sun and clouds with periods of showers and storms on the mainland. The Keys will see more clouds than sun and periods of showers. Thursday’s highs will be near 90 degrees in the east coast metro area, in the low 90s along the Gulf coast, and in the upper 80s in the Keys.
Friday’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies alternating with periods of showers and storms on the mainland. Clouds and showers will linger in the Keys. Highs on Friday will be in the low 90s on the mainland and the upper 80s in the Keys.
In the tropics, we’re continuing to watch an area near the north Florida coast for possible tropical development late in the week. This feature is forecast to move along the northern Gulf coast, bringing heavy rain to the region, whether or not it becomes a depression.
