Highs on Saturday will be in the mid-80s along the East Coast metro area and the Keys, and in the upper 80s along the Gulf Coast.
Sunday will bring lots of sun and a few clouds around South Florida. But the East Coast metro area could also see a shower or storm in the afternoon. A high risk of dangerous rip currents remains at the Atlantic beaches. Minor flooding near high tides is possible along the Atlantic coast. Sunday’s highs will be mostly in the upper 80s on the mainland and in the mid-80s in the Keys.
Monday will feature sunny skies on the mainland, while the Keys will see some sun, more clouds, and a few showers and storms. Monday’s highs will be mostly in the upper 80s in the East Coast metro area, near 90 degrees along the Gulf coast, and mostly in the mid-80s in the Keys.
Tuesday will be another sunny day on the mainland. Look for a mix of sun, clouds, showers, and a few storms in the Keys. Tuesday’s highs will be in the upper 80s on the mainland and the mid-80s in the Keys.
Wednesday’s forecast calls for lots of sun around South Florida. Highs on Wednesday will be in the upper 80s on the mainland and the mid-80s in the Keys.
The tropical Atlantic is heating up again. We’re watching a wave in the central Atlantic that will be bringing heavy rain and gusty winds to the Windward Islands in a couple of days. This wave currently has a low chance of development once it reaches the Caribbean — but we’ll keep a close eye on it, since the Caribbean is the key area for tropical development in October. And there’s a low well east of the northeast U.S. coast that has some chance of becoming a subtropical storm in the next few days.
