Pleasant Sun on Saturday, But Chilly Finish to 2025

Saturday features a cool start, followed by plenty of pleasant December sun and a few clouds at times.  Saturday’s highs will be near 80 degrees right along the Atlantic coast, in the low-80s elsewhere along the East Coast, and in the upper-70s along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.

Sunday will bring morning lows in the upper-50s and low-60s on the mainland.  Then look for sunny skies on the mainland and a mix of sun and clouds in the Keys.  Sunday’s highs will be mainly in the low-80s on the East Coast, near 80 degrees along the Gulf Coast, and in the upper-70s in the Keys.

Monday will feature morning lows in the low- to mid-60s on the mainland.  The day will be sunny in South Florida.  Monday’s highs will be mainly in the low 80s in the East Coast metro area and in the upper-70s along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.

Tuesday will see mostly sunny skies and a gusty breeze along the Gulf coast as a cold front moves in.  Look for plenty of sun in the East Coast and a mix of sun and clouds in the Keys.  Tuesday’s highs will be in the upper-70s on the East Coast and the mid-70s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys — but expect temperatures to drop quickly in the evening.

Faith Based Events

Wednesday’s forecast calls for a chilly morning, with lows in the low to mid-50s on the mainland and the low-60s in the Keys.  Then look for a good, but not overly warm-up.  Highs on Wednesday will be near 70 degrees.

Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
