We’re watching two areas in the tropics. The first is the wave that’s now in the central Caribbean. This feature has a low chance of developing before reaching the Yucatan over the weekend. It’s forecast to emerge in the Bay of Campeche.late in the weekend or early next week. The second feature is a wave that’s several hundred miles west of the Cabo Verde Islands. While it has a low chance of developing right now, this wave has a medium chance of becoming a depression before it reaches the Lesser Antilles this weekend.
