Miami Judge to Shaq: NBA Season or Not, You Will Testify in “Ugly” Lawsuit!

By Jose Lambiet, GossipExtra.com, for SouthFloridaReporter.com, Oct. 28, 2015 – MIAMI — Former Miami Heat center Shaquille O’Neal has been ordered by a federal court in Miami to make himself available for a potential embarrassing deposition before Nov. 30.

The order came last week after O’Neal, 43, now an NBA analyst and commercial pitchman, had argued he doesn’t have to sit down with the lawyer of disfigured fan Jahmel Binion.

The lawsuit was filed after Binion, using a photo of his face, tried to reach out to Shaq last year on Twitter and Instagram.

Instead of a fun exchange with a superstar, Binion was mocked by Shaq before more than 10 million followers because his face is grossly distorted by a rare genetic disease.

Faith Based Events

Shaq apologized for tweeting his photo imitating Binion and said he thought Binion had makeup on and was messing with him.

But Binion still sued, claiming that Shaq used his likeness to grab even more followers.

Shaq filed a motion to be excused from testifying, partly because of his work load and travel schedule, but the court turned down his motion.
