Lots of Clouds and a Gusty East Coast Breeze

Wednesday features some sun and lots of clouds on a gusty breeze in the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf coast will see more clouds than sun, while the Keys will be mostly cloudy with a few showers.  A high risk of dangerous rip currents remains at the Atlantic beaches through at least Wednesday evening, and minor flooding is possible near high tides along the Atlantic coast.  Highs on Wednesday will be in the low 80s in the East Coast metro area and the Keys and in the mid 80s along the Gulf Coast.

Thursday will bring some sun and more clouds on the mainland, while the Keys will be on the cloudy side, with showers in spots.  Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches and minor flooding near high tides along the Atlantic coast.  Thursday’s highs will be in the mid-80s on the mainland and the low 80s in the Keys.

Friday will feature lots of clouds and some afternoon showers and storms in the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast will see mostly sunny skies, but the Keys will be mostly cloudy with a few showers.  The Atlantic coast can expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents and minor flooding near high tides.  Friday’s highs will be in the mid-80s on the mainland and the low 80s in the Keys.

Saturday will be mostly sunny in the East Coast metro area and the Keys, while the Gulf Coast will see lots of sun.  Saturday’s highs will be in the mid-80s on the mainland and the low 80s in the Keys.

Faith Based Events

Sunday’s forecast calls for plenty of sun and a few clouds around South Florida.  Highs on Sunday will be mostly in the mid-80s, but a few inland locations could reach the upper 80s.

It’s quiet in the tropical Atlantic.

She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons.
