It’s time for the children of the Reagan revolution to take up “mantle of leadership.”

That’s the message Marco Rubio is sending to voters in states with March 1 primaries in a new television advertisement hitting the airwaves today. The Rubio campaign said the ad, called “Revolution,” will air in key markets in March 1 primary states.

“Thirty-six years ago this nation faced a period of doubt. After a failed presidency it felt like America was in decline, our economy was stagnant, and the American Dream felt like it was slipping away,” Rubio is heard saying in the 30-second spot. “And then we elected a president that inspired us, who asked us to remember who we were and who believed as we do that America’s greatest days always lie ahead.”

Rubio continues: “Well now the children of the Reagan revolution are ready to assume the mantle of leadership.”
