
After some patchy fog in spots and seasonable morning lows, Friday features sunny skies and a rather brisk ocean breeze along the east coast. Watch out for an increasing risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches starting on Friday and lasting into the weekend. Highs on Friday will be near 80 degrees.

Saturday will bring plenty of sun and a few clouds. Saturday’s highs will be near 80 degrees.
Sunday will feature sunny skies along the Gulf coast and a nice mix of sun and clouds elsewhere. Sunday’s highs will be in the low 80s.
Look for some morning showers on a strong breeze on Monday as a front moves in. Monday’s highs will be near 80 degrees — but temperatures will drop quickly after dark.
Tuesday morning will be chilly, with lows in the 50s. Then we’ll see lots of sun but not much of a warm-up. Highs on Tuesday will top out near 70 degrees.
The tropics are quiet as we near the end of the 2019 Atlantic hurricane season.
