Nearly 85,000 bottles of mouthwash have been recalled nationwide, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In late December, the Parodontax Active Gum Health mouthwash was pulled from shelves due to missing or illegible lot codes and expiration dates. On Monday, the FDA gave the recall a Class III risk level, the lowest level for products that are unlikely to cause adverse health consequences.
