Seventeen men, including a Disney employee, have been arrested and one suspect is still wanted in an undercover child sex sting in Polk County.
Nine of the men showed up WITH CONDOMS and several brought CANDY with them for their “dates,” according to officials.
The week-long sting was set up by detectives to catch perverts and pedophiles on social media.
The men, ranging in age from 19 to 60 years old, responded to fake ads they believed were from children as young as 10 years old.
Deputies of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office said the conversations between these men and the fake minors were about sex and sometimes became “explicit” in nature, including a few naked selfies.
Twelve of the 18 men even traveled from other counties in Florida to meet up with either the children, or in some cases, the custodian of a child.
