The Florida Panthers ended their four-day development camp on Friday morning with an inter-squad game at the Coral Springs IceDen.

The 34 players, many from the US and Canada and others from as far away as Finland and Sweden, vied for attention from the Panthers coaches and management in front of about 300 spectators at the arena, part of the city’s sports complex on West Sample Road.
The players, ranging in age from 17 to 22, included minor leaguers in the Panthers’ farm system, juniors, collegians and the Panthers’ center, Denis Malgin.

The Friday scrimmage featured speedy charges from both the blue and red squads and sharp saves by the goaltenders.
Fans watched the game in person and the live telecast on the Panthers Facebook page at the same time.
Following the workout many in the crowd shopped for Panthers jerseys and other items at the arena’s pro shop.
