Why Was the Coffee Recalled?
The coffee was recalled due to potential glass contamination, an issue that a customer brought to the attention of Dollar General employees.
Ingesting glass fragments may lead to serious injuries, including damage to teeth, laceration of the mouth and throat, or perforation of the intestine. To date, no injuries have been reported in connection with the recalled coffee.
Dollar General is still investigating the source of the glass contamination.
