Courts are suppose to be non-political.

Often they don’t live up to that goal. Especially when the election is less than two months away.

Take Brenda Di Ioia, who is running against a sitting judge and a former judge for Broward County Court.

Di Ioia was dumped as chief traffic court hearing officer over the holiday weekend– a courthouse job she has held for over two decades.

Faith Based Events

Di Ioia supporters are yelling “politics.” They claim that she was targeted by the courthouse establishment because she challenged sitting judge – County Court Judge Nina Di Pietro.

The third candidate in the race is former County Judge Ian Richards.
