
Wednesday features breezy conditions as a front moves in. Look for partly sunny skies with maybe a shower in the East Coast metro area. The Gulf Coast and the Keys will see good sun and a few clouds. An elevated risk of dangerous rip currents remains at the Atlantic beaches on Wednesday and for the next few days. With the return of king tides, expect minor to moderate flooding at the Atlantic coast and in the Keys through the workweek. Highs on Wednesday will be in the mid-80s.
Thursday will bring mostly sunny skies to the East Coast metro area and the Keys, while the Gulf Coast will see lots of sun. Concerns over dangerous rip currents and coastal flooding remain along the Atlantic coast. Thursday’s highs will be mostly in the low 80s in the East Coast metro area and the Keys and in the mid-80s along the Gulf coast.
Friday will feature a seasonably cool morning, with lows in the mid- to upper 60s. Then, look for mostly sunny skies in the East Coast metro area and the Keys. The Gulf Coast will see lots of sun. Friday’s highs will be in the mid-80s on the mainland and mostly in the low 80s in the Keys.
Saturday will start with a cool morning. Look for lots of sun around South Florida and a gusty breeze in the east coast metro area. Saturday’s highs will be in the low 80s.
Sunday’s forecast calls for lots of sun and a few clouds at times. Highs on Sunday will be in the low 80s.
In the tropics, we’re watching the central Caribbean, where an area of disturbed weather now has a high chance of becoming a depression in the next several days. This feature will move slowly westward and then meander, but computer models are not in agreement with its ultimate track. We’ll keep a close eye on it.
