
The world knows he’s the “Piano Man,” but it appears Billy Joel ‘s not super good at the real estate game.
But who is these days?
The songster’s two adjacent Manalapan properties, 1920 and 1940 South Ocean Blvd, were just relisted for a discounted price after briefly being taken off the market last month.
The price of the recently renovated property at 1920 South Ocean was dropped from $19.5 million to $18.5 million. The lot at 1940 is for sale for $9.5 million, but buyers can save a cool mill if they buy them together for $27 million.
The properties have been on the market for 15 months, which likely seems to Joel like “The Longest Time,” especially considering he put them on the market the year after he bought them.
It’s clear Joel is trying to cash in, considering he only spent a combined $18.2 million for the two properties.
