Wednesday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with periods of showers and storms on the mainland. Look for mostly sunny skies with a stray shower in spots in the Keys. Wednesday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
Thursday will see hot sun alternating with mainly afternoon and early evening showers and storms on the mainland. Look for more clouds than sun and periods of showers in the Keys. Thursday’s highs will be mostly in the mid-90s in the East Coast metro area, in the low 90s along the Gulf Coast, and near 90 degrees in the Keys.
Friday’s forecast calls for a mix of sun, showers, and storms on the mainland and mostly sunny skies in the Keys. Highs on Friday will be mostly in the mid-90s on the mainland and the low-90s in the Keys.
In the tropics, the wave in the central Atlantic is battling dry air and currently has a low chance of becoming a depression. It’s moving northward and will not be a threat to the Atlantic coast. But the wave in the far eastern Atlantic is better organized and has a high chance of developing into a depression in the next few days as it moves to the west-northwest. We’ll keep a close eye on it.
