
At least two students have been shot in an active shooter situation at Evergreen High School this afternoon.
The school is about 28 miles southwest of Denver.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says at least two students have been shot and are on the way to the hospital. A spokesperson for CommonSpirit St. Anthony Hospital said the hospital in Lakewood is treating three critical patients right now. The spokesperson did not know the ages of those being treated.
Authorities have not released more details on the shooting.
Parents are being asked to go to Bergen Meadow Elementary School at 1928 Hiwan Drive to reunify with their students.
