A nationwide recall is underway for barbecue sauce from Savannah Bee Company due to mislabeling and undeclared allergens, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Feb. 27. Bottles labeled as Honey BBQ Sauce-Mustard were accidentally filled with Honey BBQ Sauce-Sweet, resulting in the addition of undeclared wheat and soy. The situation poses the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions, but no illnesses have been reported to date.
