Two holiday barks sold at Aldi stores nationwide have been recalled due to undeclared allergens, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Nov. 26. The recall affects two Choceur items, produced by Silvestri Sweets Inc., whose packaging was mistakenly swapped. As a result, Choceur Pecan, Cranberry & Cinnamon Holiday Bark contains undeclared wheat, and Choceur Cookie Butter Holiday Bark contains undeclared pecans. The recalled products pose a serious health risk to those with wheat or pecan allergies.
