This holiday season, Heinz is offering a novel twist on the day‑after‑Thanksgiving ritual with its newly introduced “Leftover Gravy” kit. The limited‑edition product features the brand’s Homestyle Turkey Gravy packaged in a squeezable bottle, designed specifically for turning leftovers into something memorable.

The inspiration for the launch comes from the iconic “Moist Maker” sandwich made popular by the sitcom Friends, in which leftover turkey, stuffing and gravy are stacked between three slices of bread. Heinz leaned into this pop‑culture moment to appeal especially to millennial hosts who treat Thanksgiving as more than one meal.

According to Heinz, 94 % of Americans make leftover sandwiches after Thanksgiving and nearly half believe gravy is the must‑have ingredient.  The kit includes a 12‑ounce jar of Heinz Homestyle Turkey Gravy, the new squeezable bottle, and a recipe card for building the “Ultimate Thanksgiving Leftovers Sandwich.”

Available exclusively via Walmart.com, and while supplies last, the product launched on November 18, 2025. Demand has been high, with some outlets reporting the kits sold out within hours of launch.  The move builds on Heinz’s broader holiday‑season strategy, positioning its gravy not just as a table sauce but as a leftover brand enabler.

Faith Based Events

Indeed, the Leftover Gravy kit may be playful, but it carries weight: by taking a staple condiment and repackaging it for the day after, Heinz turns the post‑feast moment into a branded occasion. For families who already set aside turkey and dressing for tomorrow, this squeezable bottle may be the extra “moist maker” they didn’t know they needed.
