Retail giant Amazon is once again jumping the holiday shopping calendar by launching its early Black Friday-style sale from November 20 through December 1. The 12-day event will span home goods, electronics, kitchen, beauty and apparel categories, and it will showcase “millions” of deals — some with discounts up to 55%.
Among the featured brands in the sale are Bissell, Beats, Nike, Theory, AllSaints, New Balance, Kiehl’s, Dyson, Lancôme and Bose.
New features this year include exclusive products from brands like Charlotte Tilbury and Fisher‑Price; daily surprise “Today’s Big Deals”; and a novelty called “Shop The Game” which lets viewers shop while watching sporting events on Black Friday.
Amazon’s move mirrors the broader trend of retailers kicking off holiday sales earlier. Competitors such as Walmart are holding early Black Friday promotions this week and again later in the month, while Best Buy already began its own holiday tech deals in October.
For shoppers, this means a longer window to score bargains, but also the need to stay alert for time-sensitive offers and exclusive drops. Retailers are leveraging early momentum to capture spending sooner and to stand out in a crowded holiday market.
