Monday will bring some sun and plenty of clouds, showers, and storms to the mainland, while the Keys will be cloudy with periods of showers. Monday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.
Tuesday will feature clouds, showers, and storms that will linger into the evening on the mainland. Look for clouds and showers in the Keys. Tuesday’s highs will be mostly in the upper 80s.
Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with plenty of showers and storms on the mainland. The Keys will be cloudy with periods of showers. Wednesday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.
Thursday’s forecast calls for more clouds than sun and plenty of showers and storms. Highs on Thursday will be mostly in the low 90s on the mainland and in the upper 80s in the Keys.
In the tropics, we’re watching an area off the southeast U.S. coast for possible development late in the week. Computer models indicate a low could form there and move across the Florida peninsula and into the Gulf. Whether or not it becomes a depression, it will bring heavy rain to much of Florida.
