Thursday features a cool morning, followed by a mix of sun and clouds in the East Coast metro area and plenty of sun with a few clouds along the Gulf Coast.  The Keys will see more clouds than sun.  Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches on Thursday and into the weekend.  Highs on Thursday will be in the mid-70s right at the coasts and the Keys, while inland locations could reach the upper-70s.

Friday will bring a chilly start on the mainland, with lows in the upper-40s to low-50s.  Then we’ll see lots of sun and a few clouds on the mainland and mostly sunny skies in the Keys.  Friday’s highs will be in the mid-70s in the East Coast metro area and the low-70s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.

Saturday will feature another chilly morning with lows in the upper-40s to low-50s.  The day will be sunny on the mainland, while the Keys will see a mix of sun and clouds.  Saturday’s highs will be mostly in the upper-60s.

Sunday morning lows will be in the upper-40s to low-50s again.  Then look for mostly sunny skies in the East Coast metro area and the Keys.  The Gulf Coast will see lots of sun and a few clouds at times.  Sunday’s highs will be in the low-70s.

Faith Based Events

Monday’s forecast calls for a milder morning, with lows ranging from the mid-50s to the low-60s.  The day will be mostly sunny around South Florida.  Highs on Monday will be in the mid-70s.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
