Offering their ¾-ton truck customers a taste of the Power Wagon life, Ram is offering a new Off-road Package on the 2017 Ram 2500 Heavy Duty; a value-priced option including a list of must-have upgrades for the occasional off-roader.

Up to 35% of pickup owners operate their vehicle in off-road environments for work and or/play.

To that end, this package consists of large front tow hooks for added versatility, larger fender flares, specially tuned Bilstein shocks to better take advantage of the exclusive coil rear suspension adding further control, 18” or 20” Firestone all-terrain tires that clean themselves keeping the tread clear to grip again, a transfer case skid plate to address the lowest mid-point of the truck, hill-decent control to control speed down steep, rugged grades, and for added traction a rear anti-spin differential turning both wheels in tandem when increased torque is applied, and then automatically unlocking for normal on-road driving.

Faith Based Events

A large “4X4 OFF ROAD” decal is placed on the rear corner of the bed and on both sides of the truck.  The Ram 2500 4X4 Off-road Package is available in Crew Cab and Mega Cab, HEMI gas V8 and Cummins Turbo diesel 6-cylinder powertrains and short- and long-wheelbase models on all trim levels.

Pricing for base 2500 Tradesman starts at under $35,000 while pricing for the new Off-road package has yet to be announced.
