South Florida will see two days of showers and storms, starting on Wednesday. Showers were already moving through before daybreak, and that will set the stage for a 
Wednesday featuring periods of heavy rain, gusty winds, a high risk of rip currents, and highs near 80 degrees. Strong to severe storms are possible in the afternoon, and an isolated tornado isn’t out of the question.
The stormy pattern will continue on Thursday, with more rain, the possibility of localized street flooding, gusty winds, and highs in the upper 70s as a front approaches.
The front clears South Florida overnight, leaving cooler and drier air on Friday, with morning lows in the mid to upper 50s and afternoon temperatures topping out in the low 70s.
The weekend will feature pleasant South Florida winter weather, with Saturday’s highs in the mid 70s and temperatures reaching the mid to upper 70s on Sunday.
