South Florida is breezy and warmer on Tuesday, but lots of rain is on the way. After a mild Tuesday morning, look for sun, clouds on an ocean breeze, a quick shower in spots, a high risk of dangerous rip currents lasting through Wednesday, and highs near 80 degrees.
Showers and storms will move in overnight, and we could see a very messy morning commute on Wednesday, followed by more periods of heavy rain and gusty winds in the afternoon. Wednesday’s highs will be in the upper 70s.
Thursday will be rainy as well, with showers around and the possibility of strong storms in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 70s, but a front will clear our area late on Thursday, bringing drier air and cooler temperatures on Friday.
Friday’s highs will be in the low 70s, and a pleasant weekend will see afternoon temperatures in the mid 70s on Saturday and the mid to upper 70s on Sunday.
